Mme Westley holds a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS that she completed at Canterbury Christchurch University. She has over 20 years of experience of working in schools and has recently completed her National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL); whilst working in her previous school she completed the Leadership Pathways qualification. As well as being an Assistant Head Teacher, Mme Westley also leads the Inclusion Team.
She has worked in two previous schools in the borough of Greenwich as Assistant Head Teacher and head of maths. She is particularly interested in pastoral care for all children and recently trained to be a ‘Mental Health First Aider’, working alongside the Mental Health team in the school.
Mme Westley has previously spent time in France and Australia, where she completed a French course and taught children from the ages 3-11 to ski and snowboard. When returning from her travels, she worked in a variety of schools across London, developing her pedagogy and behaviour management skills.
Outside of school, she is proud to be a mother of three children and believes strongly that a good education gives children options for life. She is determined to ensure that children, no matter their starting point or background, are given the same life chances. She has a keen interest in sport including: tennis, yoga and skiing.
