I have worked for STEP since April 2012 and I oversee the management all of our onsite catering teams.
I have worked in catering since 2003 and enjoy working with the kitchen staff and being part of STEP.
Our mission is to encourage children to make healthy choices, but also giving them the opportunities to experience a wide variety of different cuisines.
Stefania Cavaliere – Senior Catering Manager – All academies
I started working with STEP Academy Trust in 2013 as a Kitchen Assistant. During this time, I have been fortunate to have been able to recognise my potential and develop my passion for cooking and catering.
My current role is to ensure that the standards throughout the academies represent a friendly and professional dining experience; from our staff as well as the quality of our selected produce in order to deliver a balanced and healthy meal.
Simona Coletta – Catering Manager – Angel Oak, La Fontaine, Turnham and Westbridge
I have worked in catering for over 20 years in various sectors: hospitality, restaurants and education.
I joined the STEP Catering Team in 2020 as a Catering Manager proudly overseeing La Fontaine Academy, Turnham Academy, Angel Oak Academy and Westbridge Academy. I really enjoy working in a school environment, it’s rewarding seeing the children having a good experience during lunchtime.
My passion for food and my experience will assist me as I continue to deliver healthy food and bring on more ideas to encourage children to be more adventurous with their meal options.
